I have had the privilege of working on several commission pieces over the past several years, including a bust of Winston Churchill for the Coronado Club in Houston, a larger-than-life moose for the Columbus Ohio Zoo and Aquarium, and a heroic-scale depiction of a firefighter at work, entitled "In Moments of Valor".
I have also worked on several corporate projects, such as the 5-foot high Buc-ee beaver, a custom beer tap for a local brewhouse, an award for the Sherwin-Williams Company, and a trophy/portrait of Darrell K. Royal for Barton Creek Country Club in Austin.
Additionally, I have served as the project manager/art director for several monumental projects:
Texas Capitol Vietnam Veterans Monument: Oversaw the entire project, including digital enlargement, finish sculpting including hands, faces, and gear, bronze production, delivery, installation, site design & engineering.
Phantom Warrior, Fort Hood: Oversaw the creation of the original sculpture from maquette to monument, including production and installation.
12-foot High Texas A&M University Class Ring Monument: Oversaw the creation of the monument from a 3-D file provided by the class ring manufacturer (Balfour). Coordinated engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and perpetual maintenance plan.
